First off, I'd like to mention that Biomes o' Plenty is the best and most extensive mod I've ever come across. Thanks for creating such an amazing addition to the game of Minecraft.
Like I said, I do have an idea for a biome that I think could be a reasonable addition those in the game.
A large swath of forest which succumed to wildfire. With possible a Smoldering Undergrowth subbiome.
Trees in this biome have no leaves, but would have resembled the vanilla large/tall oaks before the fire. They have branches and a trunk of Charred Wood (like oak wood, but with a blackened texture) and/or Crumbling Charred Wood, which has an even more damaged texture. The ground, which is mainly Charred Grass, may have sections of exposed rock or sections whe…

Before I begin, I'd just like to say:
I love Biomes o' Plenty! Keep on improving!
While it is a great mod, there are two problems that make crafting with wood or farming trees difficult.
1. Some wood types can't craft certain wooden items. For example, Ebony Planks can't be used to make chests. Similarly, Willow Planks can't make signs.
2. A few saplings turn into vanilla oak trees when bone meal is used. I have not tested if regular growing works yet...
Anyway, that's it! Thanks.Read more >
People have been waiting over a year for the Nether Biomes to be readded to Biomes O' Plenty! And they are finally here!
I have reorganised some of the nether biome pages which were left neglected. Fungi Forest (Nether) needs to be created. More images would be greatly appreciated too!
Also, check out Special:Videos to look at some BOP videos which have been added by Alex Bahchevanski!Read more >
For now on, use Template:Infobox_Block for plants as some plants are luminescent. Plants include all things that make the X shape seen from below: So Rock Formations also count as plants.
Also, don't use the |biomename= or |title= at all in infoboxes, they mess up the special font for it. Just leave it blank and it will automatically display the page's name.

UPDATE 2 January 19th 2017 - I will give people who make good edits and have 30+ contributions rollback - This allows you to easily revert vandalism.
UPDATE November 23rd 2016 - We still need more contributors, and I need more people to keep a watch over the wiki. If someone edits enough with an account then they will get promoted to rollback or content mod.
I've been here for quite awhile now, and I can see that this wikia is starting to revive, the infoboxes and templates are modernised, the design of the wiki looks great, and many pages are up to date, especially the Biome Finder page which really needed an explanation!
But there is one problem, we need more editors! Most editors don't edit very often and some only are here for a few d…

The Arctic tundra is a cold, vast, treeless area of low, swampy plains in the far north around the Arctic Ocean. It includes the northern lands of Europe (Lapland and Scandinavia), Asia (Siberia), and North America (Alaska and Canada), as well as most of Greenland. Another type of tundra is the alpine tundra, which is a biome that exists at the tops of high mountains.
This is the earth's coldest biome. Since the sun does not rise for nearly six months of the year, it is not unusual for the temperature to be below -30°F in winter. The earth of the Arctic tundra has a permanently frozen subsoil, called permafrost, which makes it impossible for trees to grow. Frozen prehistoric animal remains have been found prese…Read more >
New navboxes have been added! They Look like this:
We also need a one for Items and Blocks eventually, and it would be nice if someone adds mini pictures after each biome.
So add them to every biome page!
P.S: Sorry I was inactive throughout April, I was busy and my laptop broke.
Update: Please provide evidence for things that might be coming soon, e.g: if the Pasture returns with rice grass, then you need a source for it.Read more >
Here it is: Screenshot Guidelines!
I've made new screenshot guidelines for the whole wiki! Make sure you read them!
Also, WE NEED MORE SCREENSHOTS!
Some pages have a lack of pictures on them, and some are flooded with pictures such as the Sacred Springs page. The screenshots using texture packs and minimaps will be removed once we have replacements for those pictures. We need your help!
Also, if you have good experience with wikia, then you might want to help my Template:Navbox Biome or the more easier Biomes List/Draft page. We also need a navbox for items and blocks.

Hello! I'd like to announce that I am now an admin here!
Over the next few days I will be enabling some new features for wikia, I've already enabled The Fourm and the category-gallery thing. I will add the custom font thing to the infoboxes and amboxes (which I tried earlier, but failed as I need to use MediaWiki for it).
Also, we need some navbox makers! (I haven't tried them myself but they should look like the ones on Minecraft Gamepedia).
I am still working on the redesign for the biomes list, Click here to see it!

Quick notice. Please do not tag a biome as removed if it is still present in the latest release of Biomes O' Plenty for Minecraft 1.7.10. I'm holding off on 1.8.9, as the developers are still doing a lot of work on it. Thanks!Read more >
I have spoken with the lead developer of the mod, Forstride, and he has told me that he has never heard of MCPE BOP, nor does he endorse it. He has affirmed that this wiki is for the PC version of the mod. I invite anyone to remove information about MCPE BOP wherever it is posted. A separate wiki may be set up for MCPE BOP. If you have any questions, please leave a message on my talkpage or contact Forstride at https://discord.gg/0loJvLMgvZi0q596.Read more >
New infoboxes are out! They are much simpler and work with mobile! (and are being adopted across all of wikia)
visit the Template:Infobox_biome page to see what you need to type in (I guess it is different)
Unfortunately there is still the item infobox that needs to be updated, and you need to edit EVERY page with the template on it to replace it with the new design (I think there is a way for admins to refresh every page or something).I've done the item and block infobox and when i renamed them they were all updated on every page.
I've also added a minecraft font to it, and the amboxes (Template:Delete has been made into an ambox, even though it was only used on one page).Read more >
I've made a template named Template:Ambox, this is a template to help you to make a template similar to the new Template:Stub design. Currently we need these templates:
A delete template for vandalism
- A list template for list pages
- A protection template for pages protected by an admin to prevent vandalism
A template to tell reader's that the page's content has been removed in a later update of BOP
- And probably some others
The green and blue colours are taken from the wiki wordmark.
Note: The stub template's picture is only a placeholder.Read more >
Check out the new Seed Repository. It could use some new additions!Read more >
Hey guys! I have been given administrator rights on this wiki. With that being said, I've gone around and removed some inappropriate comments. If you have any questions or concerns, please leave me a message on my message wall. Take care.Read more >
I have made plans to adopt this wiki due to a lack of active administrators for more than the past year. This basically means that I may be granted administrator or bureaucrat rights on this wiki depending on how my adoption request goes. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to leave something here, on my message wall, or on the adoption page itself. Thanks! 1234Iloveguns (talk) 03:54, June 30, 2015 (UTC)Read more >
