Corrupted Sands is a biome found in the Nether. It is made of large areas of soul sand with frequent Thorns and Dead Grass. Quicksand pools also spawn and can obstruct paths in Nether Fortresses.

History Edit

The Corrupted Sands Biome was originally just a flat biome full of soul sand. Phantoms originally spawned here before their removal. In 1.11.2 it was redesigned to have much better variation and much more Thorns, making it more detailed.
