Content / Biomes

The Hot Springs biome consists of Pine trees. Thermal Calcite borders the water.

Tips[]

A good seed for a Hot Spring biome is: 6104747075808482399. The coordinates for this seed are x: -126 and z: 309. This seed does not work in version 1.7.2 or above.

If you are also using a mod such as IndustrialCraft, Hot Springs biomes can be extremely useful as the lava underground is easy to pump up for energy.

History[]

Hot Springs was first introduced in 1.6.4 and was almost completely different. The ground was almost entirely composed of stone, with small patches of grass. It had Hot Spring Water pools that were very common. The biome was removed in 1.7.2, but re-added in 1.20.2, significally revamped.
