Description[]
The Canyon biome is a fairly survivable biome to live in at the midway point. It contains hardened dirt and grass relative to the vanilla Plains biome, lava pools strewn across the surface, and virtually unscalable mountains and cliffs that jut far beyond the cloud level. Pine trees spawn here (those generating on the side of cliffs can extend much higher than normally), and impressive buildings can be made on the side of the mountains. Mobs do spawn here, sometimes even in the daytime because of outcrops from the large mountains. A bottleneck is usually the entrance, strewn with Coal Ore.
There is a sub-biome called Canyon Ravine, which generates at the edges of the Canyon biome.
The Canyon biome was removed in the 1.8.9 version of BoP, as well as Canyon Ravine.
A seed for this is 200.
