Steppe

This feature used to be in the mod but has since been removed.

The Steppe is a sparse biome with a mixture of sandy grass, and dried sand with different coloured patches. This biome is not present in 1.16.4

Description[]

The Steppe is notably tan brown in hue, with almost no vegetation, and absolutely no trees.

Vegetation[]

Very little. Dead Bushes, Grass, and Desert Grass can spawn.

Mobs & NPCs[]

Horses and other passive mobs frequently spawn here. Llamas are very common in this biome.

Survival[]

The lack of trees, food, and water make this biome an unpleasant starting spot. Players who wish to settle here will need to track down resources from other biomes and cart them back. The possibilities of Donkeys and Llama may help in this task.
