The Lush Desert is a fairly hilly desert-like biome.
Description
As of recent versions the ground is made up primarily of Red Terracotta blocks, with occasional patches of dirt, sandy grass, and sand. It may spawn patches of the Oasis sub-biome. The abundance of grass represents some deserts (like California in January) and how they can be greener at times making this a biome that was mostly added to add even more realism to the game.
Vegetation
Vegetation consists of Dead Bushes, Desert Grass, Tiny Cactus, Acacia and Dead Trees, and vanilla Cacti. Wildflowers and Bromeliads can also occur here, alongside Coral and Algae in rivers and ponds.
Mobs & NPCs
Like the regular desert biomes, villages can spawn in this biome, alongside passive mobs such as Chickens.
Survival
Just like most desert biomes, it's fairly easy, empty with not much wood to harvest but lots of open space.
