Added in version 1.2.0 and removed in the 1.12.2-7.0.1.2355 build, Turnips can be grown from Turnip Seeds which randomly drop from Koru plants. The drop appears to be a rare occurrence. A turnip can be eaten for 3 hunger (1 1/2 shanks) or used to craft Veggie Salad.
